Run Thru Hell on Halloween–10/31/2010

    If you have been a runner in Michigan for the last several years then you
    undoubtedly know or have seen Dolores and Harrison Hensley. They put on
    the Run Thru Hell Race for many years which was a quality event that
    thousand of runners competed in. They would also travel to races every
    weekend and even go to mid week races. Dolores would help with
    registration and work the finish chute and Harrison would take with him entry
    forms from hundreds of races so runners could look through them and take
    the forms home. They were very active and important people in the Michigan
    running community. This all came to end in November of 2008 when Dolores
    suffered a stroke. Now these once active and vibrant people are confined to
    their house. They miss seeing all the runners every weekend and we miss
    seeing their smiles and all the help they brought to the race.
    This race is for them. This is a one time race that will not be held again. The
    entire entry fee will go to the purchase of a wheelchair assessable minivan
    so Dolores and Harrison can once again go to the races.

06/30-07/04/10 Group Training

My Oh My, Here comes July

Wednesday 30th, 6:30pm Parkside Track, 1×1600, 2×1200, 3×800, 4×400

Saturday 3rd, 7:00am Swim, Vandercook Lake County Park, I’m doing 2 loops, ……….you can do just one.

Saturday 3rd, 9:30am or 10:00ish (when ever we get done and around from the swim) Bike from VCL, 30 miles first loop ( I’ll be looking for 120 miles all day!)

SUNDAY 4th, Bike at 10:00 from JCC, 30 miles

SUNDAY 4th, Run after Bike,12:15 to 12:30 start, 20 miles is my goal, I’ll set up shorter Loops for the less adventurous.

SUNDAY 4th is Hanover Horton Firecracker Run – 5 miles. Starts at 8:00, have to be there and ready to get on bus by 7:30 a.m.

Hey! Ho! Let’s Go!

Saturday, Run, 8:00am Concord Classic 5k,( 5k warm up/5k run/ 5k cool down) – Concord High School

Saturday, Swim, 12:30 pm At YMCA,swim til 2:00

I will run again later that night to try to get in 20 miles,

Sunday, Bike, 10:00am, JCC Fieldhouse Parking Lot, First Loop about 30 miles, all abilities welcome

Riding all day…………..120 miles is the goal

06/19-20/10 Group Training

OK, final answer.

Saturday; Swim at 7:00am, Vandercook Lake County Park, 1 or 2 loops available

Saturday; Bike at 11:00am till 6:00pm, JCC Fieldhouse Parking Lot, would love some company, will ride whatever you want and then some

Sunday; Bike at 10:00am, JCC, ONE LOOP 33 miles

Sunday; Run at 12:15ish, from JCC (after Bike Ride), 20 miles, we’ll do shorter loops so we can hydrate and such.

04/10-11/10 Group Training

Gonna run the Ortho Rehab 8k on Saturday, 8:00am,  Will run the course again to get 10+ miles running.

Swim at 12:30 after the run Saturday, at the YMCA.

Bike Sunday at 9:00am from JCC, 25 miles and up, I’m looking for 50+!

03/27-28/10 Group Training

Remember all workouts can be adjusted to your ability…..If you show up!!!

Saturday,9:30am, Run 5 miles from the YMCA, meet inside Lobby

Saturday 12:30, Swim until 2:00……………and maybe again @ 6:00pm if Ryan wants to try for 10,000yds in a day!

Sunday Run 9:00am , 17 miles is MY goal, two shorter loops and a final run to finish the distance
